Yes it would be nice, however i’m pretty sure that directors personal assets couldn’t be touched. Their personal assets would be well protected by various mechanisms. I think the best we could hope for is that, if they were found negligent, then they would be barred from holding a directorship for a period of time. The cost of achieving this in the courts would be very expensive and unfortunately it’s not going to bring our money back.
