Who, over a year ago, predicted the likely failure of CFU? Oh yes, that was me wasn't it, sorry about that.
I said that if the BOD and management took significant pay cuts it might save CFU, but they didn't listen, why not? Why does greed for salaries take precedent over the success of the company? Why did investors have to keep putting their hand in their pocket to pay directors ridiculous salaries, for a company barely emerging from R&D with nowhere near enough sales to support the company? Do not blame yourself for losing money in CFU, blame the Directors for bleeding the company dry year after year.
Can't win 'em all as they say, and I hope nobody had any more in this than they could afford to lose, after all that is one of the first rules of investing.
Now delisted from AIM (UK) today. Delisting from ASX will be next in the administration program to wind up the company IMVHO.
As I also predicted early last year, the big cheese is the most likely to pick up the IP for peanuts and start up a private company, continuing the work where CFU left off. He has the cash to do it and clearly believes in the technology. Lets see if that prediction comes true shall we.
