Who owns AXIS?

I was curious to know who owns AXIS, given that shareholders of MED have lent them $15 million.

 

What follows (apologies Pentacost for my obsession, but I like doing research) is in the public domain, though some ASIC information is behind a paywall. This post is by no means complete in information and comment, but I think it shows enough for now.

The directors are Mordechai Zev Gutnick and the secretary Peter James Lee.

 

Ordinary shares number 11, which were issued at $11.00 each.

 

Preference shares number 3,188,743, which were issued at $1.00 each.

 

Non-cumulative redeemable preference shares number 3,188,743, which were issued at $1.00 each.

 

 

Big hitter shareholders of AXIS are:

 

Emmanuel Althaus, who owns 8 of the 11 ordinary shares.  Who is he?  Joseph Gutnick and Emmanuel Althaus were on the board of the ill-fated Centaur Mining Exploration Ltd.  https://tinyurl.com/yylta5al

 

2,626,084 of the 3,188,743 preference shares are jointly owned by companies with which Joseph Gutnick has associations (see below):

I note that most shares are owned by companies that give their address as:

 

Level 8, 580 St Kilda Road, MELBOURNE VIC 3004.

 

or

 

210 Kingsway, SOUTH MELB VIC 3205.

 

Both these addresses were once the addresses of MED.

 

Complexity of ownership is shown for the 2,626,084 preference shares which are jointly owned by four companies with which Joseph Gutnick has connections (see below):

What is the upshot? That Joseph Gutnick, as the CEO of MED, should use his connections with AXIS to get back the money that MED’s shareholders are owed. After all, MED and AXIS now share the same office. So it is really just a matter of Joe Gutnick having a brotherly word with Mordechai Gutnick over a cup of coffee.
