Westhx, i am NOT suggesting at all that there is untoward about the bid, or the actions of directors at all. I am sure that the directors of MOS did believe that they were, and still are, acting in the best interests of s/h, and I am sure that they feel that they have and are fulfilling their fiduciary duties.
What I am saying, is that IMHO, MOS should have released all market sensitive information, particularly information wrt possible takeovers etc. The market is supposed to be kept informed, and as such the MOS sp almost certainly would not have fallen to the levels it did - which invited the low-ball offer from AGL.
