You'll be happy to know I took up about 2/3 of the offer, although it wasn't a huge amount.

The other 1/3 I picked up at 9c a week ago. I could have picked up shares slightly cheaper on-market today, but for little difference once commission came into it ... so I went for the offer out of principle (slightly less for Prime!).

I'm still annoyed I blinked and missed that $17M 7c transaction. I was poised at the time to buy around the 7c mark or cheaper, which was on the cards at the time. It was obvious ANZ were selling, and it looked like the price would head even lower ... then, whammo! (grrrr).

Ah well, if you told me 2 months ago that I'd be able to pick up DES scrip at 9c to 10c I would have thought it an amazing bargain ... let's hope it ends up being just that.

It would help if we knew that Dom was going to stay on. Fingers crossed that Prime have the common-sense to make it worth his while.
