This might be the article that caused some problems. When I read it late at night (Aust time) there were only a small number of reader comments so it was easy to come across the ones who were suggesting links and tricks to view the video and download it. After following a few of them one thing became obvious - there will many copies backed up on computers world wide, mine not being one of them. The ban was seen as a challenge to those who know their way around the web.
Now there are over 3000 reader comments to wade through.
