    I would never invest in Uber. It is not a sound business obviously, however they are going in for the sole purpose to kill the taxi industry at the expense of profit (with the end goal of raising margins to get to profitability). China was their undoing which will be coming off their books moving forward.

    Whether they are doing well financially is not the play here. They are taking market share at an exponential pace. The supply of traditional taxi's will wane and revenues continue to fall for Cabcharge. Check their revenue charts (down down down).

    Their answer to the competition is to introduce 'Spotto'. Sounds cool and innovative... Until you see it is just making the payment terminal mobile (does nothing to ad value or appeal to the user).

    Price is 90% of the battle with consumers. Increasing levels of service as Cabcharge say they are doing does nothing when they are 40% more expensive and a lot less convenient. The damage is being done and hence the short. The proof will be in the pudding in the coming months ;-)
