Garden Island (Western Australia) as I've followed this embryo/baby/kid for decades. Five CETO units were installed in 2014. Desalinated water is the by-product. My romantic-dream is for a smaller-version to be implemented on my small island & I've registered my willingness to co-pay as a pilot-site for a mini commercialized product offering..I fear I'll miss out to the bigger boys..notably island nations such as Bermuda..so if I lose on my swing I'll win on the big roundabout as a CCE investor..
So while there's no guarantee as you've indicated, I'm willing this all-the-way..backing the company with each capital raising..and using these penny'esque buying opportunities to ensure a VERY low average-cost into the unknowably exciting future. I'm not the only one funding CETO..Governments all around the World (especially those with PLENTY of coastline & too many unseemly windmills/shipping hazards) have provided grant funding..My funding has been even-more-selfish to gain a nice slice of the company's stock..and the mind boggles at the value of our intellectuals property garnered this century..dwarfs our current Market Cap in my opinion.
Each individual makes their own investment decision at looks-at-it in different ways..but for me i see no reason to decline a 1 cent buying opportunity. Stock price has gone from 2 cents a few years ago..then up to 9c last year..and back around 1c again now..For those not in it for the long-run there's an opportunity to buy in gloom & sell in boom. Carnegie has been around for decades and ridden-out worse storms than this. A native-title land claim caused our flourishing (20th Century) Carnegie Minerals to change course and become global pioneer of Wave Energy. A trip over to W.A. may be worthwhile. Some amazing technology playing-out offshore on Garden Island. I tried to keep it short..Think I achieved something in halving the length of my previous reply. GLTAH
