I'm willing to stick my neck out and say, it will be a long time before America allows the use of cryptocurrency. The petro-dollar keeps the American economy alive; the chinese control a lot of BTC (via mining) and the russians have a big amount of BTC (most likely stealing via scams and ransomware). The latter, is not going to be endorsed by the Americans.

All you will be able to do is gamble with these "turds" and hope that somebody else wants to have a heavier bag.
