one has to make an educated guess as to future Ni prices (which is why I own this stock) ........
you may wish to try and get an estimate as to "how much" productive capacity has been "removed" during this price crash .......
then est future demand ......
then work out how long to chew up the stockpiles ......
and ......there is your answer .......
in short - approx. 85-100,000 T has been shut-in / gone broke so far "this cycle" ......
it does imply that "future projects" will need a long period of higher prices BEFORE anyone will lend money to develop same (think Ferro projects in Indo etc) .......
which means "nimble" co's will make cash on the (eventual.......lol) rebound in the commodity price .....
kitco is useful for pricing (its lme is delayed by 1 day....)
