Ermm, @eshmun is right. The E in P/E ratio is earnings per share, which is specifically defined as earnings per share after tax and depreciation. This is a well-defined term. Even RMS' financial reports show EPS value under the same term. People use different metrics to measure a company, P/E is just one of them. It is not necessary to redefine it to suit the story.
