MOD is a difficult and disheartening stock to own at the moment. I'm sure everyone feels it. Anyone with a portfolio laden with resource & commodity companies (like my own) is bleeding profusely.
The next couple of days will be critical to how the next chapter of the trade war unfolds. The end of the 60 day consultation period for Round 3 of the tariffs ends on Wednesday. Tariffs may be implemented as soon as Thursday.
Will Mr Trump pull the trigger? It may seem crazy to jeopardise the growth of the US economy so close to the mid-terms, but he's a stubborn and cantankerous old goat so who knows? Question will be answered in the next 48 hours.
