In China a signed contract is not bankable (i.e. funders do not consider that even binding contracts will stick) Agreed prices will be subject to further renegotiation if spot price moves against the buyer-if seller doesn't adjust to meet market price then they will cease buying. This is not an indictment on Chinese businesses, just a pragmatic reality of the market.
