I was simply pointing out that I don't think the CR participants would have had any unannounced inside info on the revenue. Fail to see how I was being conspiracy theorist there? I was trying to be rational - seen it plenty of times that people assume when sophs buy into a CR they have some golden insight..... and then the share price sounds like a coles ad.
Cahuna was too negative/conspiracy theory in my book and I even called that out a few times. On the other side Borris to me can be excessively bullish sometimes by clutching at straws rather than dealing in "facts". He's been caught out by that a few times as well (hit counter on the Kneoworld homepage anyone)
I sit somewhere in the middle and think of myself as a lot less sensationalist than either of the extreme points of view:
- I think there is a chance Kneoworld could do well, but I am not going to point at other tech stocks with market caps 20 times ours and suggest this is possible any time soon
- Given cash burn rates the recent raising has barely covered one quarter of costs. This is a pure statement of fact. I expect the revenue numbers will have improved but nowhere near what they need to be to cover costs. $1300/quarter is a long way from $500,000/quarter
- We have a huge number of shares on issue and more dilution is out there with con-notes and oppies @ 0.001 that can be converted. More dilution is likely in the future also given the cash situation
This one was always a long shot bet for me. I'm sitting on a loss at the moment and I'm not sure that I'll make my money back - but I have stated before that is a risk I was aware of so I'm not going to complain about it. I refuse to semi-empty ramp on the prospects of the company just to get my money back though.
