I imagine a placebo, crystal or positive thinking might alleviate my back pain, snoring or migraine for a bit but not open wounds in a full trial. Smoking gun has to be the original trial.

The best thing I have read in 20 years on HC was @TDA advice:

"In each of these occasions I have been in discussions with the CEO’s of each company and the main thing that always led me to sell before such catastrophic results was their inability to partner with Big pharma, their constant want to, but failing in doing so and hence going it alone!"

If FTT/TIS couldn't partner with a bunch of professional money makers with the necessary insight to evaluate and make a commercial investment, "Houston we have a problem"

I still don't understand how or why, perhaps it was confirmation bias, that the board and the trail team didn't notice the lack of results long before this. It's not like wound healing isn't observable unlike my back pain.

Anyway, GLTA. I really feel for those who lost substantial investment funds which will take years to recover (Brian, Resourced and the others). For the rest of us remember TDA's advice. No partner no play.
