I had meetings yesterday afternoon so appreciate your patience in awaiting my response.
In my view the key items for the company are the Carrick trial results, increasing its reach via distributors and in turn increasing sales.
As outlined in the quarterly report, and other updates, the Carrick trial continues to progress with preliminary findings to be available in September 2017 with the data from the final cohort of subjects available later this year. As I explained to another shareholder in my last email, we don’t get any visibility on the results so we are currently providing as much information on this as we can. Positive trial results will be very important in increasing adoption of the product and potentially gaining FDA Clearance.
In terms of the sales pipeline as you’d likely be aware we’ve signed a number of relatively new distribution agreements for territories including Saudi Arabia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Greece. As Mente Autism is a new product and is effectively creating a new market, we can’t expect large unit orders to be placed by the distribution partners immediately. Initial units are being used by these distributors for education and training of potential end users, and we obviously aim to then follow this with increasing orders of the Mente Autism device.
In terms of increasing distribution reach the company is exploring new opportunities in additional regions including the UK and Australia.
There are obviously variables with all of these items but Wolfgang and the rest of the team are very committed to hitting these positive milestones as well as pursuing any additional opportunities to drive shareholder value when and where possible.
