From my research the best opportunity seems to be the US / Swiss company Transocean which is stock code RIG.

For those that don't know check out the movie deep water horizon to gain a good feeling about this company is.

Transocean has a halfway decent balance sheet and seems it is likely that it will actually survive the downturn.

So in my opinion only buying Transocean doesn't sound like a bad idea in particular if your purchases are quite small and spread over time.

Sounds like a good idea to me, I would have a lot more confidence in a balance sheet and a business like that which is still making money.
