I have been using managed funds for almost 20 years but have never paid an entry fee. NEVER.
plenty of ways to avoid them. some years ago I used to use Investmart website, who rebated all the entry fees.
Commsec used to rebate all my entry fees also.
a lot of fund managers nowadays don't charge any entry fees if apply directly.
