    Rambo 23; thank you for the comments on the AGM. I suspect they are close to the mark. Why would not private enquiry try to buy DVN cheaply ? I think private enquiry always comes with a low bid to 'test the water' the lower the price they buy at the more profit . They will digest the information they have and may come back with a more realistic offer. Only Leighton's know what they will accept to be 'shot' of DVN

    If private equity could buy DVN @$ 0.90 - $ 1.00 a share with an NTA of $1.30 - $ 1.40 clean it out, smarten up profit and balance sheet and re- list or merge it will a similar business - it will be on!

    Leighton 's have too many other problem and issues to deal with before DVN. DVN will eventually come to the top of their list of ' things to do' and we will see some action.

    In the meantime the current management stays in place being over paid and compensated for poor results. I don't think current management of DVN want it sold.
