Ash,u maybe correct,but i would argue that afinity and hoyts leased their esport stadium in nsw for a reason.That being it is the developing business for esports ie tls's investment in tsm,afinity's esport businesses in other countries besides the UK.
I don't believe u can compare a purpose built esport stadium with wimbleton tennis court or a F1 track which have limited use.
These esport stadiums can also b used as music venues.
Also i'm suggesting tls lease the vic stadium and then maybe work with their US investment tsm co to run the esport events just like affinity in nsw.
Surely they would complement each other ie start with cloud gaming then progress to professional gaming.
The revenue streams for such an arena would b diverse from various sponsors,food caterers,ticket sales including memberships plus imo not to be understated the new image it would give tls as a modern tech co.
Just my opinion,but the businesses as above are developing globally with at&t the first telco getting involved in the US.There maybe others ie tls will own ashares in the US with tsm building a esport arena.
As posted imo it makes more sense and easier to run than tls health.
But lets c what tls does with google and its investment in tsm which tls said it would use to develop esports in australia?
