Kitty, hmm penn, first as posted i have no issues with the way penn is developing the tls network ie 5g ,4g developments, partners, platforms, sea cables, poi, china infrastructure.ie the tls network. But NAS,iot's and content has to start making a profit.
Now where i get extremely frustrated is tls has the ability to initiate some excellent ideas.?But then as posted for some reason they can't convert those initiatives into solid businesses.
Specifically infraco, energy and esports ,all announced by tls?,well done they all make sense. Now what?,they for some reason seem completely incapable of establishing a common sense business model for all 3 imo very profitable businesses.
Iv'e posted enough about energy and esports, but look at infraco, excellent idea with a solid business model supported by the nbn $1b pa cpi lease for approx 30 years. But why include sea cables when sea cables are imperative to the future of tls connecting tls's 5g network globally,NAS iots and content?
Wouldn't the obvious inclusion be tls energy in a infrastructure business and expand energy ?,or any other infrastructure that makes,a profit?.No tls can't even develop imo a very simple business like infraco without wearing their blinkers and restricting the profit potential of infraco, imo developing energy is simple compared to developing NAS,iots and content and making NAS etc profitable.
If i had a choice to be ceo i would choose energy/retail expansion compared to developing NAS etc..
And the worst part is all 3 excellent ideas are tls's ideas but then something happens to stop the potential and various people leave.I will be interested if the tls venture capital guy who makes sense leaves after the new cfo denholm 'rational' comments regarding tls venture capital.
ps the way i see it tls venture capital has the ability to expand outside the restricted penn tls business model and y cfo made the comments ie acquisitions not within tls restricted business model, and what annoys me is they say nothing about the crap iot's under development by murud because murud fits with in the bs tls restricted business model , clearly looking at most of the muru d start ups have no chance of competing in the market.ie its hard enough trying to pick a winner ie established start up thru venture capital than tls thru muru d trying to start a start up.
