Actually, there is some research that indicates that companies with more women involved have better financial results. The garbage leadership team at Telstra certainly needs to be shaken up.
Additionally, hHave you ever considered the fact that some of these blokes get these jobs because they are blokes? They might play golf with Bob and Bob told Jeff he is a good bloke who loves a laugh? Why would they want a woman in there, who doesn't get their jokes? So, we may be seeing highly talented women not getting a look in because of the bloke culture at these old institutions.
The way that the blokes at Telstra have been running the show hasn't been great, or you think their performance suggests the status quo should remain? How much in the red are you with this company?
