Why dont we have more dams ( you could equally ask why dont we use nuclear) ? I suggest its because the decisions must be run past the Greens , GetUp! , and (of course) the 11 - 17 year olds (guided by the Teacher Unions) who have such a great grasp on the realities of life. How do we "run those decisions past" the various precious saviours of the planet? Watch Q&A any Monday and you'll get an idea as to the response.
