Telstra has customer 'bases' and can deliver extra services with little extra cost.'synergies for an existing utility provider.

origin energy customer base 4.2 million, actually larger than i expected lol but not large enough.

telstra fixed/future nbn customer base 5.9 to 6 million.

telstra mobile because one customer can have multiple devices best to describe tls as having 50% market share same as 50% fixed.
Lets squeeze in low cost re seller tls belong on nbn and mobile.

Telstra is a registered energy provider .

imo with out doubt if would be much easier for a infrastructure provider to enter energy production and energy retail than to become a owner of an Australian mobile network.

The reason i keep suggesting red energy is they one of the few to provide gas and electricity both production and retail and have a good customer base and going by statistics 50% of red energies customer base would already be tls customers.

As tls is already a registered energy provider they probably could enter thru individual acquisitions of gas and electricity production, but my gut feel red energy is the easiest way to enter.

But tls will do what tls does best ,roll over as origin not only becomes a re seller of nbn but imo clearly at some stage a re seller of mobile. But thats ok for the energy sector to disrupt telecommunications but not for tls /telecommunications to disrupt energy.??????????????????
ps and as for origins larger energy customers that tls would win,who has the best offering tls or origin, imo again with out doubt telstra ,one example being that last 5g enterprise announcement.
Talk about a massive potential bundling package.
