100% agree with first paragraph.
Re second paragraph ,as posted i now take no notice of ebitda forecasts because tls has openly refused to present the full picture so ebitda figures can be used to see how a business is performing.
Eample penn and denholm suggest tls's nbn margins are trending to zero.? Could be 100% correct ? ie nbn charges tls $60 tls re sells for $60 as an extreme example.Whats missing? Clearly what is missing is the other side of the story ie as posted due to nbn tls is transferring 7000 employees to nbn but cost savings are included as general 'fighting back' cost savings not as they should be ie a result of tls transferring fixed back to govt and obvious reduced costs of approx $2b whatever i forget. Then again as posted the $1b plus lease payments ,exchanges etc etc as per previous posts.
imo only the $3b black hole and zero margins is bs as a result of typical accountancy gone wrong. And perfect to confirm tls's ability to confuse every body.
You sum tls up well 'very frustrating.
Its hard to lose interest in a co with all the opportunities of tls,but then i read this regarding tls esports 2 days ago
-Australian leisure management'19/2/19
'telstra to explain rise of esports at sport asia convention'.
I f u have a sick sense of humor headline is funny enough considering tls can'e explain much and asia esports has already matured.
What concerns me is first tls's anna lockwood and the general suggestion in article tls is more interested in prodiving 5g/seacable connectivity only.
The comment was made by tls that in macau they intend 'discussing opportunities for content contribution and distribution around asia' ???????????????? as usual whats that mean.
As posted gfinity like deceaux must love tls for providing them with such a impresive mobile and seacable network for 'THEIR' layer of digital advertising and esports can make the real profits from such a network ie refer oml growth forecasts, esports gfinity, tsm etc etc growth forecasts etc etc and compare to tls's no forecasts.oh unless u include data forecasts with no profit guidance.
That half year report was pathetic, their vision for growing tls beyond its network is pathetic imo only.
I hope i am wrong, but u watch a global esport co lease the esport arena off the vic govt while tls is busy explaining the rise of esports in asia.
