Fixed as in the modem will not have a battery and be designed to compete against Fibre/ADSL links but yes the link is 3.6ghz not mmwave and it is mmwave that will require all the additional infrastructure and special antennae. The $4200 cost is TLS assessment of Verizon current install costs for an mmwave link. 3.6ghz still uses cell towers.
