Optus is offering fixed wireless internet on the 3.6ghz links from the new 3GPP standard which is essentially sub 6Ghz 5G to selected suburbs as it rolls out nationwide. $70 for unlimited data with a guaranteed 50Mbps down, comparatively I pay only $10 less for the same on the NBN.
The video GR posted shows the 3.6 Ghz link in action on one of the displays.
