OK, its an exaggeration, but it sometimes seems to me that I'm that only person that hasnt "worked" (yeah, that's deliberate quotes) for Telstra ... and been paid a huge amount to go away.
Seriously, I do know several people that were not exactly strenuous workers but managed to get a job for Telstra , sort of worked for a dozen or so years and then received very nice packages to the extent that they havent bothered re-joining the workforce .
