No way. They have picked their target audience carefully. They have chosen when, where, and how. It will be a roaring success. I dont know what the Aussie govt debt is, but 50 billion of it is completely wasted on the NBN. For bush towns just cable up / fibre up to some 5g tower and the 500 residents can get 5g, 20 times better than the NBN. What a joke that in 2010, the 'govt' decided it knew what the future of technology would be. And they stole 50 billion from the taxpayers then tell the taxpayers the 50 billion we wasted you MUST use the rubbish infastructure we have created.
Now... onto the Darling.... fair dinkum.... govt's deciding THEY KNOW BEST ABOUT EVERYTHING.
Back on point: 5g will be a roaring success. Telstra will buy up NBN for a song. Then Telstra will have the entire market. I guess the ACCC will then decide that Telstra must divest half it's infastructure to DooDoo (or is it Dodo) to help along the public.
