Just want to share with you guys about the my comparison of AC8 and CAN using Yahoo Finance chart. All the selloffs before were characterised by normal volumes for this stock even though it was clear that every bounce had lower volumes than the dumping. The announcement of R&D facility and hazy news about what they will do caused a small pop then it went south quickly. The dumping started before the release of escrowed shares. My inference is that fund managers started to realise that the promised load of new news and concrete developments was just fake. There was nothing serious going on. AusCann staff was just sitting on the cash and paying their own salaries while doing very little. Then when the escrowed shares were released, the big boys started unloading.
Why CAN is not affected badly? I think it has some real bricks and mortars and activities to reassure the fund managers. CAN might steal the show as they are already trialling their products with the Victorian Department of Health. I guess next few months we might see some capsules and some vague idea about trials. Next year we may see a trial. Two years from now, there will be probably inconclusive results and a need for more drug design and more trials. AusCann did not even mention manufacturing of cannabis drugs. They only talked about extraction of chemicals from the buds and make more convenient and stable capsules for better dosage. So, it is about extraction and storage with all technologies imported from overseas. Well, the people overseas would do a better job? Here comes the Americans before you know
Another risk is that if CAN fails! That means the cannabis extracts don't work. Why would you want to store it into capsules if this turns out to be the case? We need to know the risks.
I am staying on the side line and watch how the dust will settle in 4-5 weeks. Good luck to all the long! May the "faith" be with you.
