However if these companies like CAN , AC8, THC got their act together as much as these guys have it could be a nice share of the market for everyone, seems these other Aussie cannabies companies management (like,AC8, CAN, THC, etc) need to take note of EXLs approach sharp, planned out ready to pounce, you guys already have licenses , facilties, lets get project managers with timelines and inform the market, thats what AC8 need now anyway, we go the license and property, how long till we are growing? Lets see some plans and targets.
They may still need another cap raise at some point in the future as they arent cash flow positive yet and if they do receive their medicinal cannabis licences in aus then they'll be outlaying more money than they are now to get it all up and running. That's not to say they're not doing well though, i quite like them also, but atm they cant really be compared with ac8 and can etc as they're not in the same industry... yet.
Exl are hemp foods and over the counter cbd products derived from industrial hemp in the US and they are killing it there. But its not the same as the clinical trial, product registration, pbs, medicinal cannabis path.
No doubt they'll receive their aus licences tomorrow morning and this will are be meaningless haha But I reckon your judging the other companies a bit harshly. They've done whats seeming to be the hardest bit.. actually getting the licences. The fact that every single cannabis cultivation and or manufacturing company seem to be going at snails pace, id say its more the poorly structured australian system they are having to deal with atm rather than them needing to get their act together. I guess thats just all part of being the the first movers in a new industry, exciting times for all!
Nice post only thing I disagree with is EXL would need to do another cap raise , they made $37.2 mill last year and are only getting started, whilst AC8, CAN got zero, as soon as EXL have the licenses will be able to fund the fit out themselves, and with the way they are organised and hitting targets they will probably have a crop growing sooner than AC8. We are all believers that the cannabis industry is going to be huge , just need to pick the right ones, at the moment EXL is showing what professionalism and communication with shareholders can do, creates shareholder value, not many other cannabis companies in Aus would you find the holders too happy right now. EXL is performing.
