By the time "we" are up and running, foreign competitors are miles ahead. With a small population, "we" do not have enough domestic market. And the foreign competitors would have taken the world and come in to our tiny market with superior products and cheaper price. The "sleeping giant" will have enough cash to buy a tombstone to sleep forever.
