The whole thing about stock market is that investors should be highly suspicious of what the companies say. A lot of the time, people in a company only try to hang on their jobs in these new startups. Only the CEO and highest level managers may know what is really going on (and all the troubles in the company). When big shareholders cannot get satisfactory answers from the company management, they start selling the shares. And if they can still lock in some profit they would just sell. For the funds, a company's share is just a trading vehicle. There is zero attachment. The hire professional fund managers whose job is to make a profit risk. They forget a stock as soon as they click submit button on the last lot of shares. It's like selling an old car.

When a new boss takes charge of a company, there is a long period for the new person to understand the staff, issues and formulate strategies. I don't expect much changes for at least 12 months. You will need wait for a long time until they have a product and have it gone through clinical trials and then made available for prescription. This can be 2.5 years down the track provided that the clinical trial is successful. I guess if you go for long term, just forget it and have a look in 3 years time. You don't need to have a look at the shares on daily/weekly basis. Just transfer it out of your trading platform.
