Hi Guys,
I recently bought into PLA at an average price of 39 cents, hence i'm feeling the pain like most shareholders.
I've been trying to stay positive about a brighter future for the company, but it's been hard for the follwoing reasons, if anyone has more insight please comment it would hopefully lighten the load.
Firstly the company is bleeding money, roughly 7-8 million per quarter and with only 22 million in reserves, what will happen in 6 months? Will they do a massive raising at 15-20 cents??
Secondly production is pathetic and going nowhere, currently 8,000 ounces and likely to be the same for this quarter. The company states they'll reach 60,000 tonnes per month in the december quarter, can someone please explain how this could happen when they're currently only doing on average halve of this?
Thirdly, their three projects in the pipeline will cost between 100 - 150 million each to get off the ground. Where the heck will they get these funds from? The Share price would be 2 cents if they were to do various capital raisings?
Fourthly, a takeover would be great, but you'd think most players in the area would be derisking out of SA & Zimbabwe due to the various reasons. What company would want to increase there exposure in the area, especially when there was talk of another mining tax not to long ago?
Thanks in advance for any knowledgable comments.
