It's an excellent article. She did a good job as always. Certainly there are big risks but the outsourced contractor in China is something Fenn can handle, I believe. The bigger obstacles he is facing are the local ones - the government and the banks/insurance agents. End of Dec. is approaching fast. Will he be able to pull it off? I do not know. I hope he does. My concern is this, if there was an event of a financial nature would it trigger a chain reaction and if it did would he be able to contain it? If it happens DOW will be savaged. The bright side is that there are billions of dollars worth of contracts.

In recent days media has painted a pretty poor picture about Downer and its cash-flow scandal. Put simply, the rest of this year and perhaps 1H of 2011, will be tough but in the second half of 2011, and closer to 2012, we may see some solid improvements (if the above events do not occur and if Fenn earns his 100K+200K share bonuses). Until then, I take my investment in DOW as a long term investment, however, I will continue to trade smaller batches when "luck" permits. I see buying DOW at these levels as low risk ST trading opportunity.
