To my mind, capable management is vital to the success of a company, even ones with great assets.

If so, why hasn't recruitment begun already, or at least been identified as a need? Isn't it possible that a group of lawyers would find the thought of delegating quite a degree of control to technical types rather threatening?
The latest appointee, Vincent Savage, sounds like yet another non-executive administrative type.
