It happens because there are too many followers who just go with the herd.
In other words they panic for no reason.
It should never have been sold down to those levels on that announcement in the first place..
Lucky for those that were able to take advantage of it.
Feel genuinely sorry for the person who bought 500,000 yesterday at 3c.
He came one day to early.
