Being disappointed in the lack of progress is one thing, as I realise that some things are out of their control. But that doesn't provide an excuse for leaving shareholders wondering when the next bit of good news might be. That's management not being as pro-active as they could be. And I'm not accepting in any part, blame for the share price going backwards, that is ludicrous. If we all write a glowingly, positive posts about OBL, will the share price go up? I really don't think so somehow. It would be wonderful if it were that easy. I, and many others I suspect, would be glued to their keyboard posting very positive thoughts all day & night to lift the share price. It is not me or other so called negative vitriolic posters who needs to take some responsibility for the share price, it is management, surely! Even then, I accept, that some things are hard to control. I think anyone who reads my post as entirely negative is putting their own spin on it, I'm expecting better communication and direction. In fact, when things are going against you, it is the most important time to be telling those invested why things are not progressing. Quarterly reports are mandatory, some sympathy for those becoming frustrated whilst waiting, waiting, waiting, could be allayed by better communication, & by doing just that little bit more, that's not being negative. It might be construed as being demanding, or expecting too much in the opinion of others. I really think many management teams are a bit too isolated from their shareholders, and need to realise the onus is on them to do better in this regard. This is a criticism of their communication, nothing else. Unfortunately, it seem to happen to often, with too many companies.I have not condemned the company as a whole. Please re-read my post, as I think it is quite clear.
Let me put it this way, if there are indeed good things happening in the background, as Jaybay suggests, why does the management not keep us informed to whatever extent they can. I repeat, no need for specifics, I'm just really disappointed to hear things are going okay from someone who posts on Hotcopper, & not the company itself! (That is not a criticism of Jaybay) That is not good enough, and we should all expect better!
