Jaybay78,
Great that you have the sense to keep in contact with the co., however, I still am ticked off that they can't communicate to their stock holders. If nothing much is going on, well, fair enough, there is nothing to say. If there is plenty going on behind the scenes, as you suggest, then there must be something to say. They have an obligation in my opinion, to tell share holders their goals/direction. No need for specifics, something long the lines of "OBL management continue to pursue (eg), finance, or other due diligence on a host of items that they should be pursuing. It's not that hard. If they want the responsibility of running a company, you should be able to keep those invested informed, & provide some confidence/ re-assurance &/or direction. When will directors get that, there is no harm in over communicating, but the opposite has the potential to leave holders with the impression of laziness, incompetence & feelings of mis-trust, amongst other negative perceptions. Communication is vital for holders, as it is all we have to keep informed. I am not part of the day to day running of the business, and I expect a professionally run company to be exactly that.......professional. That would include, at the risk of sounding repetitive..........communication! Not everyone has the smarts, time & opportunity to ensure they are well informed by ringing the company for information. And if we all did, their phones lines would melt-down. It is their obligation to keep investors informed, not the other way around.
Management - take the bull by the horns, and do something positive, more often, starting with some simple re-assurance to holders via a communication, if you do indeed have something positive to say. I have come to the conclusion my money is better spent elsewhere, and I think others will follow sooner or later, particularly if there continues be only the sound of crickets.
I'm not sure why I bother to keeping checking in here. I guess it shows up many flaws in my personality, but I do wish holders well, you deserve better.
Feel better now. Have a great weekend ;-)
