Let me firstly disclose how I have traded HDG to let people catch up on where I have been all this time.

I firstly bought in the mid 20s and talked it up a bit on here because it would only be fair to spread the word about a stock on the move, right? Then I exited in the mid 40s a while back before re-entering for a short term technical hold around the turn of the new FY. I then exited in the last run up and have now moved back into cash from my HDG position.

I sold out not because of the company, but because of where the markets could be heading. HDG isn't that liquid, let's be fair here, and thus it is quite a difficult stock to get out of if things were to turn ugly.

If the market was able to dig its heels in here, then HDG would be a good stock to hold over the next year or so, but I would rather sit on the sidelines than be caught napping. For now, I just hold a couple of my core long term stocks, as well as URA and a reasonable percentage of cash.
