bolat - I just don't think that is the case. MRE have paid decent dividends in the past when they have made some profits. However, do have to remember that Glencore is a trading house and although they do expect a return on investment their main reason for owning MRE is to secure supply of nickel for their trading activities. Nonetheless, if the AUD stays where it is MRE should post a pretty good 2Q result and I reckon they will have made a good enough 1H profit to pay some sort of dividend even if only 1-2 cents per share. I also reckon that at 60c very good buying opportunity if u have cash to spare.
