I have had a couple of chats with the guys from TRF. Both times i have given the office a ring and asked to ask a technical question.
The first time i had a chat to Mark who was a South African bloke.(This was back when the drilling at Death Adder first started). And just asked him about the gold results which were pretty fresh at that time along with death adder.
Last time i called the secretary told me that the geo's were in a meeting and that they would call me back which happened pretty quickly. This time around it was a different guy and we spoke about Death Adder naturally he couldn't give anything away as well as the drilling at Black Hill which had just finished.
The guys are happy to chat and answer questions in my experience but looking at peoples dissatisfaction on the thread these facts should really be going into asx releases.
Gozz i cannot recall the post that had you intrigued but i imagine it would have been about death adder.
I got into TRF on account of death adder and not necessarily the investment in IFE but i unfortunately did so at a time when the IFE holding was a positive for TRF.
The thing that got me was that all of the IOCG explorers in SA have gravity and mag targets that are undercover and interpreted to be IOCG's which they very well may be but TRF had an outcrop of what was obviously hydrothermal hematite breccia that was grading at 1.5 grams to the ton and 12 grams to the ton silver from memory over the olympus? prospect. Along with a IP anomaly corresponding to copper geochem and a crustal wide dialational zone as worked out from and MT survey.
To me as a geo this was all a very nice recipe for a IOCG system which is a belief that i still hold onto along with my ever depreciating TRF shares. hahahahaha
