"Lets say a 5cent divvy is declared and an opportunity arises, how would you feel if a cap raise was then announced to fund it?"

How would I feel? I'd feel great @frader . That would indicate the company has/is looking for opportunities and has plans to use shareholder funds to build further wealth. But alas, I suspect that has and is not the case.

@frader I think you're missing my point though. GRR management has been holding $100mil+ Cash for a number of years, but neither announces plans to use it to grow shareholder wealth, or returns the funds that are excess to the funds required to run the business and maintain the status quo.

In short: The Cash is owned by all the shareholders, do something useful with it or give it back. Just holding it, does nothing for us shareholders.
