Lord elpus: I appreciate what you're saying, and I don't doubt there are people currently working for RDF who do not like the way certain people are doing their jobs. But that's hardly unusual in any larger organisation.

I've met quite a few people who work in RTS and a good friend has been there for many years. I'm sure you're aware of the feelings re BH in that area. Almost exactly opposite to those that shareholders had over the past couple of years. (Until he recently started selling, it seems).

As far as projects not running smoothly: Again - people working there can put a spin on the situation just like management can - only in the opposite direction.

I think a telling point is what you say about the Western Ring Road: "There is a very good reason why RDF did not get it". The only way of knowing the real reason is to get the truth from the person who made that decision - i.e. *outside* of RDF. Employees at RDF can surely get together over a beer and moan about "management" and convince themselves that the reason was XYZ. But that does *not* make it the truth.
You almost seem to imply that the reason was that RDF is "on the nose" with the VIC government. This was clearly disproven as another contract was recently extended.
