emptyend/others: I bought into this stock a LONG time ago and at a much higher shareprice then - and even then they did have a LOT (more then) CASH hanging around and did sweet nothing with it...

I also tried to contact the company quite some time ago (perhaps in 2014 or early 2015) butthey had "outsourced" the consumer enquiries to a third party and I was on the phone and email exchanges with a guy in London... Nothing of value that this guy could share other than that the company was ACTIVELY looking for "opportunities".

I have somehow come to the conclusion that Global Petroleum's management is just happy to pay themselves nice ongoing salaries and to do sweet nothing other than that. Eventually, the money will dry up in a few more years' time.

Sadly, I cannot really recommend investing here as I think it is more of a 'life-style' enterprise for their management than a real oil/gas exploring company. Shocking behaviour as far as I am concerned. LUCKILY, I have only a small position here - but still not happy about this at all!
