Naive indeed but there has to be an end to the appeals from F&B! They are not doing Nz any good they are not doing the coast any good in fact all they are doing is lining the pockets of the lawyers.
I can't see the wisdom in that.
Yep that entire plateau from Granity to Waimangaroa is a pretty wild place indeed, have you seen much further back, its fricken wild. It is being destroyed by pests tho which is sad to see and so is the rampant aerial 1080 drops that keep happening. Bathurst will be taking control of this in a big way if they get their consents.
I don't want to see the area turned into a wasteland but I also don't want to see my home turn into a ghost town because there is even fewer jobs than earlier, and with SE going to 5 day weeks and the entire operation being cut right back its high time F&B pull their heads out and let it go ahead. (with the right conditions) what I don't get is why F&B didn't save all the faffing by going to BTU in the first place and hashing out some conditions that both parties would be happy with.
F&B are running out of options and sentiment towards F&B on the coast has soured somewhat over the past year or so because of this.
