Rothchild's family made a fortune alright. One was backing Napoleon and the other was financing Wellington. The brother in London got news of Welli's win hours before the rest of the mkt somehow and went in and started selling. Ppl panicked and the prices dropped to about 10% of previos value, then he started buying big. Not smart just cunning and shifty.
