Can't post the link so here is the story, for the newbies
The market has continued to display a renewed appetite for equities, by tipping $124 million into the coffers of Perth-based magnetite producer Grange Resources (ASX: GRR), which completed a rights issue to existing shareholders.
Although the one for one non-renounceable rights issue was 17% under-subscribed,with the shortfall taken up by Azure Capital and Patersons Securities under their underwriting agreements, raising that lick of cash was an impressive effort.
It doesn’t stop there as Grange is currently awaiting FIRB and shareholder consent for the second component of its planned (overall) $167 million capital raising, a placement to cornerstone investors.
Grange will use the funds raised to reduce debt, fund a restructure of iron ore royalty obligations and for working capital.
Future liabilities will be almost halved, with payment timing also extended, the company advised.
