More importantly the crucial senate debate on media cross ownership rules gets underway tomorrow in Canberra. It should an interesting time for regional media stocks. Let's hope the senate recognises that the media world has changed dramatically over the last few years and that change is required to level the playing field otherwise regional television is doomed and regional communities will lose a valuable resource and a tool that helps bind isolated communities together.
