Well if the high farce wasn’t ridiculous enough already we get this mountain of revisionism on the Billis relevant interest disclosures forced upon him by the orders of the take over panel and dating all the way back to when TBR was listed in 1989, part of which can’t be properly substantiated as it relies on records that no longer exist and memory (of which Billis is not renown for).
But we can all relax as it’s now stated that Billis does not control Tribune anymore.
Now can we please end this farce and witch hunt and just get on with the evil part of the opera to see which investment banks and broking mates end up with the 12 million Tribune shares confiscated by ASIC.
In my opinion existing shareholders should have the first right of refusal over the sale of these shares in an auction process because why should a bunch of privileged old school chums get to drive the share price down and carve cake in which ever way they want? They had absolutely nothing to do with baking the cake so they should keep their hands off it. What an absolute disgrace this whole thing is. Esh
